Supported Tools

manage_task

Manage Task

Manage a conversion task's lifecycle — update its file retention mode or permanently delete task files. **Retention modes:** - `standard_24h` — Default; files are deleted after 24 hours. - `ttl_15m` — Files are deleted after 15 minutes (paid plans only). **Delete** permanently removes all files associated with the task (paid plans only).

list_tasks

List Tasks

Lists up to 50 most recent conversion tasks. Optionally filter by status to find pending, running, successful, or failed tasks.

convert_file

Convert File

Creates a file conversion task on Conversion Tools. Supports 100+ conversion types across documents, images, data formats, audio, video, eBooks, and subtitles. Provide either a **fileId** (from a previously uploaded file) or a **url** (for URL-based conversions like website capture or remote file conversion). The conversion runs asynchronously — use the **Get Task** tool to check completion status. Common conversion types include: `convert.pdf_to_word`, `convert.json_to_excel`, `convert.website_to_pdf`, `convert.mp4_to_mp3`, `convert.png_to_webp`, `convert.markdown_to_pdf`, `convert.ocr_png_to_text`, and many more. Use the **List Conversions** tool to see all available types and their options.

capture_website

Capture Website

Captures a website as a PDF, JPG, or PNG screenshot. Supports custom viewport dimensions, device emulation, page orientation, margins, and JavaScript rendering options. This is a convenience wrapper around the conversion types `convert.website_to_pdf`, `convert.website_to_jpg`, and `convert.website_to_png`.

get_file_info

Get File Info

Retrieves metadata about a file stored on Conversion Tools, including its name, size, and a text preview (if available). Useful for verifying uploaded source files or inspecting conversion results before downloading.

get_account

Get Account

Retrieves the authenticated user's account information, including the email address associated with the API token.

download_file

Download File

Prepares a downloadable source or converted file by its file ID. Use the result file ID from Get Task after a successful conversion, before the file retention period expires.

get_task

Get Task

Retrieves the current status and details of a conversion task. Use this to check if a conversion has completed and to get the result file ID for downloading.

list_conversions

List Conversions

Retrieves all available conversion types and their configurable options. Use this to discover what conversions are supported and what parameters each conversion type accepts. Each conversion type includes a type identifier (e.g. `convert.pdf_to_word`) and a list of options such as delimiter, quality, page orientation, etc.

upload_file

Upload File

Uploads a source file to Conversion Tools and returns its file ID for Convert File. Provide the original filename and Base64-encoded file bytes.
