Supported Tools

get_quote

Get Quote

Get a pricing quote for a property stay or retrieve the quote associated with an existing booking. When querying by property, requires stay dates and at least one room type with its guest counts, and returns one price estimate per applicable rate plan. Add-ons and a promotion code are optional. When querying by booking, returns the single current quote with full pricing breakdown including fees and taxes.

update_booking_status

Update Booking Status

Change the status of an existing booking. Supports setting a booking to Booked, Open, Declined, or Tentative. This also updates the property's availability calendar accordingly. When confirming a booking you can optionally ask the guest to pay in the same call.

list_properties

List Properties

Retrieve a list of all vacation rental properties in the Lodgify account. Returns property details including name, address, type, room types, pricing range, and configuration. Supports pagination for accounts with many properties, and can list only properties changed since a given time.

send_message

Send Message

Send a message to a guest on a booking or on an enquiry, or record an internal note on the conversation. Can be used for booking confirmations, check-in instructions, enquiry replies, or any guest communication. Optionally notifies the guest by email, or pushes the message to the channel the reservation came from.

get_availability

Get Availability

Check availability for a property or a specific room type over a date range. Returns the calendar as periods, each with the number of units still available and any bookings or closed periods covering it. Optionally narrow results to a single room type.

get_booking

Get Booking

Retrieve detailed information about a specific booking/reservation by its ID. Returns full booking details including guest information, dates, property, room types, status, and pricing.

create_booking

Create Booking

Create a new booking/reservation for a property. Requires the property, room type, dates, and guest information. The booking can be created with different statuses (Booked, Open, Tentative, Declined). Returns the identifier of the new booking; read the full booking back with the Get Booking tool.

update_availability

Update Availability

Update the availability calendar for a property's room types. Sets how many units of a room type are available over a date range, so periods can be opened up, reduced, or taken down to zero units. Each room type and period is updated individually.

get_rates

Get Rates

Retrieve the nightly rates calendar for a specific room type and date range. Returns one calendar entry per night with its price per night, minimum and maximum stay, and additional-guest pricing. Can also fetch the property's rate settings, which carry the currency, VAT, fees, taxes and promotions.

update_rates

Update Rates

Set nightly pricing for a specific room type at a property. Each entry prices a date range or acts as the default rate, and can carry minimum/maximum stay limits and an additional-guest charge. Pricing is nightly only; there are no weekly or monthly price fields.

list_bookings

List Bookings

Retrieve a list of bookings/reservations from Lodgify. Supports filtering by stay status, arrival or departure date, trash state, and update time. Can include transaction and quote details. Useful for viewing upcoming, current, or past reservations.

get_property

Get Property

Retrieve detailed information about a specific property, including its room types. Returns the property details and all available room types for that property.

list_external_bookings

List External Bookings

List the channel-side bookings linked to a booking, such as the matching reservation on Airbnb, Booking.com, or Vrbo. Use this to confirm that a booking originated from or is synced with an external channel and to read what that channel sent.

create_enquiry

Create Enquiry

Create a new enquiry, the pre-booking request a guest makes before committing to a reservation. Only the guest's name and party size are required, so an enquiry can be recorded for a general question that names no property and no dates. Returns the enquiry ID, which can later be used to reply to the guest, change the enquiry's status, or upgrade the enquiry into a booking while keeping its message history.

manage_reply_status

Manage Reply Status

Mark bookings and enquiries as replied or not replied. Reply state is the inbox flag that drives follow-up workflows, so clearing it brings an item back onto the list of things needing a response. Update a single booking, or several bookings and enquiries at once.

manage_booking_stay

Manage Booking Stay

Record when a guest actually checked in or checked out of a booking. This logs the real arrival or departure time of the stay and is separate from the booking's status and its arrival/departure dates.

list_rate_addons

List Rate Add-Ons

List the add-ons available for a property, such as cleaning, linens, breakfast, or airport transfers, with the identifier, price, and maximum quantity of each. Supplying stay dates and a room type narrows the list to the add-ons that are actually valid for that stay, which is the recommended way to prepare a quote.

manage_booking_trash

Manage Booking Trash

Move a booking to the trash or restore one that is already there. Trashing a booking hides it from the active booking list but keeps it recoverable, so it is not a permanent deletion and can be undone with the recover action.

update_key_codes

Update Key Codes

Set the access codes guests use to enter the rooms of a booking, such as a door PIN or lockbox code. Provide one entry per room type, using the room type IDs that are already on the booking.

update_booking

Update Booking

Update the details of an existing booking, including the admin note, stay dates, guest contact details, rooms and guest counts, booking source and payment website. Fields you do not provide keep their current values, except the guest's external ID and any additional phone numbers, which a booking update cannot carry through.

list_inbox

List Inbox

List bookings and enquiries together from the inbox, the only view that returns both kinds of item in one call. Supports filtering by status, property, stay date range, last-modified time, and trash state. Each item reports whether it is a booking or an enquiry, plus its reply state, so you can decide which follow-up action applies.

create_booking_quote

Create Booking Quote

Create a quote for an existing booking, optionally including add-ons and custom room fees. A booking needs a quote before a payment link can be requested for it, so this is the step between creating a booking and collecting payment.

get_enquiry

Get Enquiry

Retrieve detailed information about a specific enquiry by its ID. Returns the enquiry's status, the guest who made it, the property and dates it asks about, the party size, and the ID of the conversation thread it belongs to.

update_enquiry_status

Update Enquiry Status

Change the state of an existing enquiry: decline one you cannot fulfil, reopen a declined enquiry to keep working it, move an enquiry to the trash, or recover one from the trash. Moving an enquiry to the trash hides it rather than erasing it, so "recover" puts it back exactly as it was.

get_message_thread

Get Message Thread

Read the full conversation history for a guest message thread. Returns every message in the thread with its sender, delivery status, the channel it travelled over, and any files attached to it, plus whether the thread is still open for replies. Use this to review what a guest has already been told before answering them.

list_payment_settings

List Payment Settings

List the payment options configured for a property, each with its identifier, payment type, and the account address payments are sent to. Lodgify describes these payment options as relevant when creating a booking, so use this to find out how a property can collect payment before you create a booking that should be paid online.

list_deleted_properties

List Deleted Properties

List the IDs of properties that have been deleted, optionally only those deleted after a given date. Use this to reconcile a local copy of the property list by removing properties that no longer exist.

request_booking_payment

Request Booking Payment

Email the guest a payment request for a booking. The amount is taken from the booking's existing quote and payment schedule and cannot be set here, so make sure the booking has the quote you intend to charge before sending the request.

get_rate_settings

Get Rate Settings

Read a property's pricing settings, including currency, taxes, fees, promotions, booking window, and advance notice. Requires only the property ID, so no stay dates or room type are needed.
